The Fairlington United Methodist Men (FUMM) is a group open to all Methodist Men. The FUMM strives to declare the centrality of Christ in our life, to promote the spiritual growth of men through effective discipleship, and to model the servant leadership of Christ in our daily lives. FUMM resolves to make our activities varied and to achieve a positive impact on our Church and local community.

Christmas Tree Sale
The FUMM will conduct its annual Christmas and wreath sale in the Church parking lot. Stay tuned for further details.
FUMM works with Alive!
Although we had to cut back on hands-on activity due to covid, the FUMM still contributes to the ALIVE furniture collection and donation program. Members transport furniture to formerly homeless people who are starting out in unfurnished apartments.
ALIVE! provides goods and services to low income `families and individuals in Alexandria.
Volunteers are always needed and Welcome!

The FUMM sponsors both Cub and Scout packs at FUMC. The program for both boys and girls is dedicated to character development, citizenship training, and personal fitness. Even though we can't meet as a large group due to covid, we meet online and continue to focus on service in our community and fun in the outdoors! Annual Chicken BBQ
Every September the FUMM holds its annual chicken BBQ cookout in the Church parking lot. This is a great time for friends, family and neighbors to get together for food, drink and good times--as well as a chance to buy a dinner and contribute to FUMM efforts for community outreach.
